This is an interview of Yuri Bezmenov, a former KGB agent, conducted by Edward Griffin ironically in 1984. He says only fifteen-percent of money, effort and time of an intelligence agency is spent on espionage, the majority eighty-five percent of money, effort and time is spent changing the perception of reality by a nation’s population. These ends are met through the planned programming and demoralization of the public to the point where members of this deceived public cannot intellectually receive fact, truth or reality; they are but prisoners of their minds. Those whom are awake, or conscious, to their political and economic realities will be frustrated, unhappy and impotent individuals who would be “squashed like cockroaches” by the intelligence operatives and quietly removed from society which has no place for dissenters.
We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.
~Nikita Khrushchev; Soviet Union 1959
Don’t hit the snooze button again. It’s still not too late to wake up.

Well that’s one incredibly upsetting video. I thought my poetry was depressing, but it’s nothing compared to how I feel right now. I’m gonna go paint my nails now and try to think pretty thoughts.
